My name is Gabriel Machuret, living in Australia… I’m an SEO consultant… father of 2 amazing boys and married to a fantastic, (very patient), lovely woman.
I’m very lucky… I can’t complain about anything in my life, and since working as an SEO professional I have been blessed with a constant flow of business, nice customers and generous opportunities.
On a recent trip to Fiji, I quickly realized that HELPING kids and changing peoples lives… it’s easier than I expected.
That’s why with my 2 boys and my wife, I decided to launch SEO for Kids.
This is not “an organization”… or a “proper registered charity”…
in fact it’s a tiny project that started in March 2011… and since then I have received an amazing support from many small Australian companies that enjoy my SEO services.
That’s why SEO for Kids to exist… to help kids from 1 school in Nadi – Fiji to achieve one single task:
To do their home works like any school kids should be able to do so.
You see, although education is compulsory and free in Fiji, many kids don’t have their own pencils to do their homework.
So although they love to learn.. they can’t really learn properly because once they leave the school.. they have to leave at school their pencils. (And that sucks)
This is a photo of Sebastian my son, on our last trip….

In that trip we gave away enough materials for 50 kids for a whole year!!!!
The most amazing thing was… how easy it was to help them… !
We spend less than $100 and we managed to bring so many school materials… enough (according to the local teacher) to give away to 50 kids to take home and do their school tasks.
So when I came back from Fiji I decided I was going to do something… and this is the result, we are sending a new box… this time aiming to help more kids… and each 2 months we will send another box until we have a whole school with enough to study in the way they deserve.
Want to help? Want to post a positive comment? Any encouragement helps! I’m not looking for sponsors, clients or donations… I just want to inspire people to understand that to change something, you just need a bit of good will, positive vibe and the be ready to do something about it.

Amazing man. I have hell lot of respect for guys like you. You have great kids as well:)
Hi Gab,
Great idea.
Happy to help you out with this.
Let me know what you need.

Dear Gabriel, I guess I posted my first comment on the wrong article this is really great. I have a little boy also he is five and he likes to do his part by reclining.
He has not had achance to go to school yet but he will next year. Think it wonderful that you bring the possibility of a better education to others and the fact that you involve you boys in this great.
Thanks Valerie for stopping by… the idea is just “starting” but I hope to increase it as much as possible… the target is to help 350 kids each year.
I have already expressed my point of view in your previous posts but I’m eager to do it once again – your job is great! You do real things! Fewer words, more deeds! I do admire you and your family!
I was inspired when you first sent us out an email showing what you had done on your trip in fiji. This is a great idea and this world needs more people like yourself.
Gabe, this is such a great idea. Love that photo of your son with the school children. I’ll give it a shout out on twitter.
Hey Gab!!! great work currently i have resources to support monetarily i have started a new business in fact facebook fans selling business ,if i got some will be happy too share it with these kids
Hi Gab, What a great idea you have! Kids especially from poorer countries need this kind of support and there should be alot more small businesses involved in charity events. I’ll take the idea on board for my ventures. God bless you mate! Christian
Hi Gabe,
What an amazing idea! I look forward to being able to contribute to this great cause.
BTW – how cute are your little helpers!
cheers,
Laine
When I read the sentence SEO for kids I thought it was something related to SEO relating to internet. I was very eager to read it. But after reading here I feel very happy about the good deeds done by people like you. You’re great!!! It would better to ask for donations to everyone. Not forcing them but requesting if they wish to help they can give how much ever they can. Because I like to give money for these kind of deeds even if they dont ask. Let God shower his Blessings on you and your family. It is good to involve the child from small itself to do such good deed.
Great idea Gab and I would be more than happy to contribute to your cause. I would love to see the kids faces when they receive their gifts. Let me know how I can help!!!
It sounds like a great idea and I really hope that you make a difference. However, I’m still curious on how you generate the money and if there is anything that people can do to help you.
Great project Gabriel, very admirable. I’m actually visiting Fiji soon – want me to take some over?
Hi Gabriel, thats really an amazing idea.Good luck!!
Great job! It’s good to know at the very young age of your kids they see
you’re doing a good deed.. More blessing to your family.
I love the idea of what you have started and would love to help in anyway I can both my wife and I and my children have gone to Fiji and know the smiles those kids give you when you give them something so small as we did when we went in 2004. We are hoping to go back to Fiji at xmas 2011 with my kids and I will be taking some school stuff with us and hope to be able to once again get taken to a local village so we can give them to them.
